What we collect
Depending on what you ask us to do, this may include your name, email, telephone number, contact preference, device and repair details, postcode, preferred appointment details, order information and photos you choose to upload.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To answer enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange appointments and provide repairs or sales: steps before entering into a contract and performance of a contract.
- To keep service, warranty, tax and accounting records: our legal obligations.
- To prevent misuse, protect the business and improve customer service: our legitimate interests, where these do not override your rights.
- Where we specifically ask for optional consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
Who receives it
We use service providers where needed to operate the website, forms, payments, communications, delivery and business records. These may include Squarespace, Jotform, payment providers and delivery companies. We share only what is needed for the relevant purpose. We do not sell your personal information.
International processing and security
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the provider's lawful transfer safeguards. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed to deal with an enquiry, complete a service, support a warranty, maintain accounting or legal records, resolve disputes and protect the business. The exact period depends on the record and why it is held.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to be informed, access your information, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its use, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. We do not use your information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Contact us to exercise a right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
Squarespace and connected services may use essential cookies for site security, the basket, checkout and forms, plus analytics or preference cookies where enabled. You can manage non-essential cookies through any cookie controls shown on the site and through your browser settings.
2. Accessories: delivery, cancellations and returns
Delivery options
- Free UK delivery on accessory orders over £40.
- 48-hour delivery: £3.99.
- Next-day delivery: £4.99.
Delivery estimates begin once an order is accepted and dispatched. Availability, destination and carrier conditions may affect delivery.
Changing your mind on an online order
For most goods bought online, tell us within 14 days of receiving the item if you want to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return it. Please keep the item in good condition and include its packaging where possible. You are normally responsible for the return postage unless the item is faulty or we agree otherwise.
We will refund eligible returns within the period required by law after receiving the goods back, or acceptable evidence that they have been sent. We may reduce a refund if handling has gone beyond what would reasonably be allowed in a shop and has reduced the item's value. Legal exceptions can apply, including to personalised goods and certain sealed hygiene items once opened.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photos if helpful. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Your legal rights apply whether or not a separate warranty has ended.
3. Repairs, quotes and warranty
Quotes and inspection
Online prices are intended to make common repairs clear. A final quote can change if inspection finds a different fault, extra damage, a different model or a part availability issue. We will explain any change and obtain your agreement before additional chargeable work.
Times are estimates, not guarantees. Repairs are carried out with reasonable care and skill. Back up important data before handing over a device where possible; a repair can involve risks to data, seals and pre-existing damage.
Our repair warranty
- Most repairs: 12 months from the repair date.
- Battery replacements: 6 months from the repair date.
The warranty covers a fault with the replacement part or the work we carried out. It does not cover new accidental damage, impact, pressure damage, liquid damage, misuse, unauthorised third-party work, unrelated faults, normal wear, pre-existing damage or data loss. We may need to inspect the device before deciding the appropriate remedy.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory consumer rights.
Liquid damage and uncertain faults
Liquid damage and intermittent faults can affect several components and may return after treatment. Diagnosis or repair may not be successful. We will explain the likely work, price and limitations before proceeding.
4. Refurbished devices and trade-ins
Refurbished-device enquiries are subject to availability. Before purchase we will confirm the model, storage, condition, price and any included warranty. Any trade-in estimate is provisional until the device has been inspected and its identity, ownership, account-lock status, condition and functionality have been checked. The final offer may be different; you can decline it before a trade-in is completed.
Questions or a return?
Contact us with your name, order or repair details and what you need help with. We will confirm the next step.
