Repair questions answered

  • How long will my repair take?

Many common phone repairs take around 30–60 minutes once the correct part is available. More involved work, diagnostics and board-level repairs can take 3–5 working days. We will confirm the expected turnaround before you book.

  • How can I get my device to you?

You can visit us at The Plough in Wheatley, request a local call-out or collection, or ask about a tracked UK mail-in repair. We will confirm the address, timing and any courier charge before you send or hand over the device.

  • What if I find the same repair cheaper?

Send us a current written quote for the same device, equivalent part quality and comparable warranty. We will match it wherever possible. Our fitted prices include the selected part, installation and testing.

  • Can you help with an urgent repair?

Same-day repairs are available for many common faults, subject to part availability and our current workload. Call or WhatsApp us with the exact model and fault so we can confirm the fastest realistic option.

  • What warranty do repairs include?

Most replacement parts are covered by a 12-month warranty. Battery replacements are normally covered for 6 months because batteries naturally degrade. Any different warranty or exclusion will be explained before the repair begins.

  • What should I do after liquid damage?

Switch the device off, disconnect it from power and do not use rice, heat or repeated charging attempts. Arrange an assessment as soon as possible. Liquid-damage work is quoted after inspection because the affected components vary.

  • Do I need to know exactly what is wrong?

No. Choose “Not sure what is wrong” on the booking form and describe what the device is doing. Diagnosis is free, and we will confirm the fault, options and price before any repair begins.

  • What screen-quality options are available?

Compatible models may have FDX Lite, Elite and Ultra options. Lite is the best-value display, Elite offers a sharper premium in-cell option, and Ultra is our closest-to-genuine soft OLED option. Availability varies by model.

  • Can I pay with Clearpay or Klarna?

Clearpay and Klarna are available for eligible repairs and purchases. We also accept card, cash and PayPal. Eligibility and payment-plan approval are handled by the payment provider.

  • What if my device or fault is not listed?

Send an “Other repair” request. Cameras, audio, buttons, liquid damage, board work, MacBooks, laptops, wearables and unlisted phone brands are assessed individually, and we will confirm whether we can help.

  • Can you source a refurbished device?

Yes. Send a refurbished-device request with the model, storage, colour and budget you need. We will confirm suitable availability, condition and warranty before you decide.

  • Do you support businesses or schools?

We welcome enquiries for multiple-device repairs, collection and return, priority work and invoicing. Tell us the device types, quantities and turnaround you need so we can confirm a suitable arrangement.
